Google Launches a “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” Search Tool

The search giant is mixing it’s quality algorithms and sense of humor by adding a “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” into their standard search bar.   Simply Google an actor’s name + “bacon number.” For most, you don’t need anywhere near six degrees: most can be done in two, with an occassional three. I’ve racked my brain, and can’t even get a four, even with older or international film stars. 

Interestingly, there are a surprising number of connections that go through Chris Penn via Footloose. That guy was in freaking everything. RIP, buddy.
