The Process: Crafting a Rustic Farm Table

created at: 05/28/2013

Dave Ellison is a Rhode Island based furniture maker that builds classic New England farm tables from local and reclaimed woods, giving each piece loads of character and handmade touches.

Etsy visited Dave's workshop, and caught these amazing images of the old school sawmills, droolworthy process shots, and kinds of old school woodworking goodness.

This video is a tribute to quality craftsmanship that people have lost an appreciation for. Especially in the age of Ikea furniture.

This is awesome! I recently made a table for my wife for a wedding gift. We basically took a farm table and made it a little more aestheically appealing for a dining room table.
