Memorable Movie Quotes Organized as Memorable Typographical Posters

created at: 09/27/2010

Movie quote quiz: name the film. First one to get all five right in the comments wins a free copy of Make It! Hardware Store Decor. No Googling.

1. "Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead."

2. "I'm not even supposed to be here today."

3. "Down here, it's our time."

4. "Donny, you're out of your element."

5. "The power of voodoo." "Who do?" "You do." "Do what?" "Remind me of the babe."

If you got even one of those, you'll definitely want to check out Jerod Gibson's new series of movie quote posters, artfully arranged in the shape of an iconic image from that film.

"[The] Series of typographic art prints, available in his online store 37 Posters, feature iconic silhouettes embedded in which are memorable quotes from such cult films and pop culture favorites as Pulp Fiction, The Simpsons, and The Big Lebowski. In tasteful colors with nice graphic layouts, the posters are as visually pleasing as they are smile-inducing."

Now available as posters, t-shirts, and iPhone cases. See more at 37 Posters.

I personally know I wouldn't have gotten Labyrinth or Pulp Fiction right without Google. Good job, Michael. Goonies I would have guessed hoping it was right. I have seen Goonies maybe twice and Labyrinth once.

Thanks! I pulled them all from memory (and I noticed Pulp Fiction and The Big Lebowski in the post). Goonies and Labrynth were childhood staples of mine, and I just watched Zack and Miri Make a Porno last night, so I had Kevin Smith on the brain already.

The projects in Make It! look like they're right up my alley. I may have to tackle a few of these projects.

Great work, Michael!

Everyone - You'll no doubt notice all the quotes are actual in Jerod's artwork. Michael, did you pull them out of your memory, or do a little research to come up with all of these?

2. Clerks
