Psst. See those books? Behind them, there’s an entire bookshelf stereo system, including an amplifier and speakers. And…you can make it yourself. And by make, I don’t mean just figure out a way to stash a stereo receiver behind some books, but actually build an entire audio system: cutting out support frames, soldering up a homemade amplifier and speaker scenario, and making a home to rest and plug in your favorite audio source. You can place the whole thing inline on your bookshelf, or stack the units up and place them on a side table, as seen in the photos below:
