The United Shapes of America

XKCD, which describes itself as a "webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language," offers the United Shapes of America, a "map of things states are shaped like." (Try saying that three times fast.)   created at: 07/09/2012And, it's pretty great. Yes of course Alaska is a bear with a jetpack, Virginia a stegasaurus, and Colorado the Wikipedia page of the State of Colorado. And...now, I'll never been able to see my home state of Ohio without thinking of underwear again. Thanks, Randall.

The illustration is available in high-resolution (and as a poster!) at XKCD.com

Ok, this is pretty good. But a stack of bills for Minnesota? I dunno... on the other hand, doing Georgia for Missouri and Missouri for Georgia? That's brilliant.
