That's exactly what happened when a Reddit thread popped up about a woman who left a wedding early to grab McDonald’s. Almost instantly, commenters rushed in to judge—but the reasons behind their outrage were far from what anyone anticipated.
It started as great news
A 25-year-old woman started her Reddit post by sharing that she had recently attended the wedding of her 31-year-old coworker, which took place just the day before she wrote about it.
She expressed sincere excitement for her coworker and was genuinely happy to be part of such an important celebration.
A reasonable question
Though her enthusiasm was evident, she also aimed to cover the practical side of things.

Even though this isn't a common practice where she lives, she figured it was wise to ask just to be safe.

When she inquired about any possible fees, the bride's reply was straightforward.
