Over the last few winters, I've tried to become a scarf guy. I've bought a few versatile ones, and store them on the coat rack so I remember to wear them...but honestly, I'm a little lost. I haven't worn a scarf since the snow days of elementary school, and I can't seem to find the right knot for my whole, you know, deal.
So, this year, as the weather cools down, I'm happy to share this helpful visual guide to four classic knots that work well for guys. The graphic comes from Bearings, a "Southern Lifestyle Guide for Men." Which knot is best will depend on your face shape, the scarf, and likely the cut and collar of your coat, but I'm gonna print it out and tack to the inside of my hall closet door so I can commit them to memory.
