How to Make Cupcakewurst: Cake-Filled Sausages with all the Fixings

Okay now that that’s out of the way, this project, created by Stef of the “fun, experimental cupcake blog” The Cupcake Project, actually deserves pretty high points for creativity. I don’t think filling actual collagen-based synthetic sausage casings with batter, baking then grlling them over a charcoal fire, and serving on a doughnut would occur to most, or if it did, they’d keep the technique under wraps and serve as a proprietary treat at State Fairs and such.

But not Stef. She conceptualized, executed, and is sharing the recipe with you. Cause she’s cool like that.
