How to: Make an Alka-Seltzer Rocket

DIY comic website Howtoons offers a fun, fast, and easy project for creating a small propulsion rocket using regular Alka-Seltzer tabs as fuel.   Alka-Seltzer contains both citric acid and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), and when dropped in water, the two chemicals mix, creating CO2 gas, and ultimately, a rocket!

This project is super inexpensive, and plenty fun. I plan on giving it a shot this weekend when visiting my niece and nephew…Now, where can I find a film canister?
