How to: Make a Great Tasting Bloody Mary

In my house, football season coincides with Bloody Mary season. Really, you say? Fair enough: the two are not necessarily synonymous with each other, but I’ve always felt that Bloody Marys are better enjoyed in the fall or winter months.  Similar to the complex, tomato-y flavors of a bowl of chili, it just feels right to have a hearty Bloody Mary when the weather starts to turn a little cooler.

Most bars have their ultimate Bloody Mary that they load with bacon, chicken wings, pizza, etc. that look great through a filter on Instagram, but how the Bloody Mary tastes is not the focal point in that situation.  When I’m at home and I want

How Sportsvision Makes the NFL "Yellow Line"

created at: 02/14/2016 I remember as a kid wondering how the NFL painted the yellow lines showing the the first down marker on the field, and knowing that it was likely some sort of CGI interface, but I could never figure out how they could do that while moving the camera or cutting to different angles. But whether you're a rabid fan or rueful bystander, I think everyone can agree on the merits of tailgating. Eating good food, getting outdoors, and hanging out with friends should be on every guy's list of things to do this weekend.

Recently, AT&T got in touch with us to let us know about their #Techgating tour. They're stopping at select games around the country with the AT&T Fan Zone Tour Truck, which is decked out with

The 15 Best Sports Logos of All Time

created at: 05/17/2012

Earlier this month, the New Jersey Nets moved to the new Barclays Center arena in Brooklyn, New York, and got a brand new logo by partial owner, Jay-Z. The logo is a basic black-and-white treatment, with the shield motif, basketball, and team name from the previous incarnation reduced to a two-dimensional plane inspired by old public transporation signs. It wasn't super well-recieved by professional designers, who explain, "the logo family is technically worthless and embarrassing.
