Admitting to getting cosmetic procedures or facelifts used to be very taboo in Hollywood. Most stars would never admit that they had gone under the knife, but times are changing. Plastic surgery has become much more mainstream, both in the entertainment industry and for non-famous individuals. Since there is less stigma, more celebrities have decided to reveal the extent of their procedures in the name of transparency.

Rosie O'Donnell Before
Rosie O'Donnell has had a long career in the entertainment industry. In the 1990s, she rose to fame with roles in hit movies like A League Of Their Own and Harriet The Spy. She also went on to host her own successful talk show.

In more recent years, O'Donnell hasn't been in the public eye as an entertainer. While she remains active on social media, she is more well-known for her activism these days.
She revealed that she got a facelift in 2026 after losing a substantial amount of weight. She shared before-and-after photos on her Instagram and revealed that she struggled with decision to get the surgery, but ultimately decided it would make her feel her best.

Kris Jenner is best known as the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family and came into the public eye through the reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. With the success of the show and her daughters' careers, Jenner has become a frequent TV host, guest, and fashion icon.

Jenner has had two facelifts done. The first was in 2011 and filmed for Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Her second facelift was done in 2025 and made headlines when she debuted her new look on the red carpet.
"I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy. Just because you get older, it doesn't mean you should give up on yourself," she said in an interview.

Denise Richards is an actress best known for her role in the James Bond flick The World Is Not Enough. Outside of modeling and acting, Richards' tumultuous marriage with actor Charlie Sheen also played out in the public eye.

Jane Fonda built a career through her Academy Award-winning performances and her successful series of home workout videos in the 1980s. Fonda has admitted to getting a facelift, but didn't reveal when exactly she got it.

Fonda also went on to explain that she isn't sure if she would get the procedure again if she could redo her decision to get one in the first place.
"I had a facelift, and I stopped because I don't want to look distorted. I’m not proud of the fact that I had [one]," Fonda said. “Now, I don’t know if I had it to do over if I would do it. But I did it. I admit it, and then I just say, Okay, you can get addicted. Don’t keep doing it. A lot of women, I don’t know, they’re addicted to it.”

Marc Jacobs is known worldwide as one of the top fashion designers behind his own clothing and beauty brands. Unlike a lot of celebrities on this list, Jacobs wasn't actively seeking out cosmetic surgery procedures, but decided to get one when his partner wanted a facelift for his birthday.

In an interview, Marc said, "Some couples get massages together. We thought we'd get facelifts. So, we interviewed a couple of doctors. The one we fell in love with was Dr. Jacono, who is amazing. He's become a very good friend. We thought, like, 'Oh, could he do both of us on the same day?'"
Marc was 59 years old when he had the procedure done.

Ricki Lake is an actress and entertainer who is best known for hosting her own talk show, The Ricki Lake Show, from 1993 to 2004. Lake said she wanted to be honest and transparent with the public about getting cosmetic surgery. Her decision came after she lost 40 pounds and needed to remove excess skin from her face.

Lake called the procedure "the best facelift" she has ever seen and decided to share her experiences publicly to reduce the stigma surrounding cosmetic surgeries.
"I'm fully transparent, always have been. I don't want there to be any stigma. This is something that was bothering me. I lost a lot of weight and had this certain thing hanging, and I had it fixed," she said.

Rebecca Gayheart is an actress and model best known for her work in the Scream film franchise and appearances on Beverly Hills 90210. She was also married to the late actor Eric Dane.

Ironically, for most of her career, Sia's entertainment persona has concealed her face through elaborate wigs and hair accessories. While the Australian singer didn't reveal when exactly she had her facelift done, she said she had one while presenting an award in 2023 to Dr. Talei, who did her own procedure.
