Awesome People Hanging Out Together
These days, our supermarket aisles are saturated with images of celebrities posing in the same places. Some reality TV contestant with some heiress, some basketball star and R&B singer smooching, etc. So many, in fact, that we forget the cool things that can happen when actual cool people know each other and hang out.
Enter Awesome People Hanging Out Together, a new Tumblr photo collection and community art project that captures at least two people you might wanna meet at a cocktail party. Featuring combos like Charlie Chaplin and Helen Keller, early 80s Woody Allen and Michael Jackson, Wayne Gretsky and Gary Coleman, and these three characters below, it’s a joyful reminder of the synergies that happen when talented folks are friends, challenging and engaging each other.
